MOISTURE FESTIVAL 2024 PHOTOGRAPHY DETAILS

 

Thank you for performing in the 2024 Moisture Festival! We have a team of dedicated photographers are shooting the shows and documenting the festival. As a thank-you for your participation in Moisture Festival, we are making photos for web use available FREE for performers!

 

Web-sized photos (2048 pixels) will be posted to Zenfolio. You may download as many of the photos of your act as you like (please do not download photos of other acts). These versions of the photos are for online promotional use only.

You will be asked to sign in to access and download the photos. This helps us track the photos.

The photographers will add photos during the fest and might add more photos after the festival, so feel free to check back in to see if there are more of you, or contact the photographers to find out the status of your photos. We will send out another email when all the photos have been uploaded.

 

To download on a computer, click on one photo to enlarge, hover over the photo until “menu” appears in the upper left. Hover over “menu” until “DOWNLOAD” appears, hover over that, and click on “Original” or “All available originals.”

 

To download photos on your phone: Go into the photo gallery, scroll through the photos to find one you want to download, tap on the photo to enlarge it, look for the download icon in the lower right corner of the photo, tap on the download icon, follow the prompts from your browser to save the photo to your phone.

Photo credits

For images that you download, please use photo credits for web, print, publicity, etc. The photographers’ names are in the filenames, on Zenfolio, and in the metadata – please try to keep track of this after you’ve downloaded the photos. Possible ideas for tracking photos by photographer: make a different folder for each of the photographers’ photos, keep the photographers’ names in the filenames. The photographers can also provide watermarked versions if you need.

 

Feel free to share images the festival posts on Facebook – please keep watermarks intact. The photographers can provide different sized or proportioned images with watermarks to use as profile photos or on Instagram.

 

Additional photo access

Full-size, high-resolution image files are also available for printing (flyers, programs, posters, etc.) and archives; these are $25 each. You will see a “Buy” option on Zenfolio.

 

Permission for commercial (sales) usage is available – this requires individual contact with the photographer.

 

Prints for available for sale for personal enjoyment or gifts. Zenfolio offers print order services, as do some of the photographers. Let us know what you would like and set it up.

 

For any of these options, mark the photos you are interested in as “favorites” or by selecting the hearts on the photos. Then let us know what you’d like – full-size photos, prints, or commercial usage, and we will make the full-size versions available for you. Share the favorites through Zenfolio or email us at phototeam@moisturefestival.org (or the individual photographers – emails below) with the filenames you’d like.

 

Photography at the Moisture Festival

Our dedicated team of photographers is one of the special things about the Moisture Festival that has made its massive public awareness in Seattle possible and created a body of images for the performers to draw from for their own publicity needs. They are highly experienced at shooting the kind of live performance the Moisture Festival presents. Moisture Festival uses these images as publicity for the festival (unless artists specifically opt out) on its website and on social media outlets, and sometimes even the sides of buses! The photographers may use the images for their own publicity, websites and gallery shows (with attribution to the performers), but not for sale or commercial uses without the performer’s permission.

 

This year’s team - Michelle Bates, John Cornicello, Rob Falk, David Horvitz, & Sam Westerling - are making sure each act is beautifully represented.

The Moisture Festival photographers continue to work for the festival at much less than their normal fee as a contribution to help keep the festival alive and well. Making photos available free (or for a very low rate for full-size files) to festival artists reflect their desire to provide great choices, and an incredible value for usage rights for the performers to use these images.
